The Palestinian Community in the UK invites you to join us in commemorating the Palestinian Nakba “Catastrophe” day on Sunday 9th June 2024. It is a day for the Palestinians and their supporters to come together to remember and remind others of the roots of the ongoing Palestinian tragedy. -Wide range of books titles on Palestine will be available for sale by Housmans Bookshop. More of activities will be taking place during the day:

-11:10-11:15, live playing of the Palestinian national anthem
-11:15-12:30, Film screening (Tantoura)
-12:35-12:50, Short presentation about the hidden massacre of Al-Dawayima by Yousef Qandeel -Live Palestinian music and song by Mohammad Itani
-1:00, Palestinian food will be served
-1:35-2:30, Keynote Speakers, Mr Afif Safieh and Dr Mustafa Barghouti (Palestine between Nakba and Genocide, what the Palestinians must do to avoid another Nakba?) -Live Palestinian music and song by Mohammad Itani
-2:35-3:45, Film screening (1948: Creation & Catastrophe) -Live Palestinian music and song by Mohammad Itani
-4:00-5:45, An open discussion with four parliamentary candidates on Palestine between Nakba & Genocide, what the British politicians have to do to stop another Nakba? The candidates are:
