About the APCUK
Welcome to the website of the Association of the Palestinian Community in the UK.
Our purpose is to strengthen the community of Palestinians living in the UK, while deepening our connections with each other in the diaspora and in Palestine.
We also aim to support the struggle for recognition of our full human rights, and will look for ways to do this effectively in the UK.
We are here to provide a platform within the UK for Palestinian cultural, social and national events.
We are open to Palestinians resident in the UK regardless of faith, gender, or ideology. As an association, we are strictly non-religious, non-party political, and non-ideological.
Objectives
The Association of the Palestinian Community in the UK exists to do the following:
- To promote and support Palestinian identity within the Palestinian community in the UK.
- To help raise awareness among non-Palestinians of the richness and diversity of Palestinian heritage, culture and history.
- To promote connection with and support of Palestinians around the world including in Palestine and the diaspora.
- To uphold and support the principle of an independent Palestinian state for all Palestinians irrespective of their beliefs, political affiliation, religion, sex or age.
- To present a united approach to lobby British and other European governments in our quest for full recognition of Palestinian human rights, including the right to self-determination and end of occupation.
Get Involved
We would love to have all Palestinians in the UK involved in the association. As we are preparing for our first elections, you can get involved in 2 ways.
Join the APCUK
You can apply to join the APCUK in either of two ways:
- Online. Complete the online form here.
- Download and send. Download the application form here and send it to either the email or physical address on the form.
Membership is open to all Palestinians living in the UK at 3 levels:
- Full membership is open to all British Palestinians with British Citizenship and to all Palestinians with permanent UK residency.
- Associate membership is open to all Palestinians with temporary leave to remain in the UK.
- Honorary membership can be given by the locally elected executive committees. You cannot apply for this membership – it is given by the executive committee.
Organise a New Branch
We currently have one area active with an elected executive committee, namely London. One more is being currently organised, with a number more being considered.
If you can get together 50 or more Palestinian Brits in another locality, then you can create a branch. For more details, please read the constitution.

I want to vote in the APCUK elections
Only full members of the APCUK can vote at the elections, and you need to be registered at least 24 hours before the Annual General Meeting where the voting takes place.
If you are a Palestinian resident in the UK aged over 18, we’d love to have you with us. You can join here, and if you are on time, you will receive details for voting.
