Join us for this urgent session to advocate for Gaza’s children.
📅 Date: December 12th, 2024
📍 Location: Committee Room 16, Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London SW1A 0AA
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza intensifies, over 17,000 children have been killed amid relentless Israeli bombings. Recently, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has described the situation as catastrophic, revealing Gaza as the world’s largest number of child amputees. Despite this devastating reality, the UK government has yet to take meaningful action to evacuate critically wounded children from Gaza, even though similar efforts were facilitated in Ukraine.
We call you, to this urgent session, hosted by the Association of the Palestinian Community in the UK, which will focus on the dire health crisis in Gaza, particularly the plight of children facing severe injuries and medical challenges. The discussion will explore the UK’s moral and political responsibility to ensure their protection and care.
